Ordered:
- creamy salmon udon: $29

I've been meaning to try this cafe for a while, and I finally decided to just go myself for lunch. It's a little cafe but it also has some seating upstairs, but I expect it might be harder to find a seat at busy times. I went midweek, so I found a seat easily. There were also two other people eating alone.

This place does desserts and food, but I think mostly they do dessert. I might come back sometime to try their desserts, and I also heard their drinks are quite good. The food they offer is generally around $30, so more on the expensive side.

I was actually surprised with how good this dish was. The udon was super soft and chewy, the absolute perfect texture. It was so creamy and heartwarming without being too heavy. I think the fish roe was an excellent addition, adding little bursts of saltiness to offset the cream. The salmon pieces were also lovely - it's rare to get a real salmon fillet in brunch menus these days. It was topped off with some crispy something, that was rather tasteless - I honestly couldn't tell what it was. It seemed too thin to be enoki mushrooms or anything, but it didn't taste like onion or garlic either.

Honestly I was really surprised with how much I enjoyed this. Its taste did get a bit monotonous towards the end, but it was a good meal, the perfect portion.
