Maccas

I know I’ve been to Maccas before. But I saw they started offering matcha and I just had to try it to see what a cheap Maccas matcha might be like. 

I’ll be honest, I completely expected it to be disgusting  I was prepared to take one sip and throw the rest in the bin. 

Maccas was pretty empty when I went, so I saw them make it. It’s pretty much two pumps of their matcha syrup and then they top it off with milk. Not particularly special in any way. But I was surprised. This matcha was still good. The syrup mix was balanced quite well, what can I say. It was on the sweeter side, but there was still a relatively strong matcha taste there. 

Once I mixed it all the matcha flavour kind of dispersed into the milk and it was watered down, which I also expected for Maccas. But colour me surprised, I actually enjoyed the drink. There was also a good amount of drink you got for the price. Damn.
