Pinto Thai Food (2)

Ordered:
- Oyster blade special bowl (with glass noodles): $19.90
- Thai milk tea: $6

I remember really liking this place when I went the first time with a different friend, but that time I had just returned from an international flight and I felt that my tastebuds were still adjusting back after many rounds of terrible plane food. So I came here again, also to try their noodles, because that's really what this place is more known for.

The Thai milk tea here is really good though, so I had to get myself one. It lived up to the previous hype - I think it's the best Thai milk tea I've had.

I wanted to try either the boat noodles or the special bowls here, and I ended up getting the special bowls. I did find that the portion size for the oyster blade bowl was on the smaller side. There was a lot of meat - mostly beef, with some beef balls, and very few sprigs of vegetables. I think the soup probably had mashed duck blood in it. But it did taste really good. I loved the soup and I loved the tendon balls. The meat was a bit on the tougher side and there were bits of it that weren't chewable.
