I came here for a lovely brunch with a friend. I've been past this place before and there's always a line, but we got in immediately today. The city just felt generally a bit more empty than usual. This place has quite the American theme to it, and the decor is also lovely. It's on a really nice alleyway with a lot of other similar nice restuarants. 

I got the mushroom toastie. My friend got the chicken burger. We also got fries to share. 

I got a mushroom toastie from a different place in the suburbs recently, and honestly this felt quite similar, just with a smaller portion. The bread was toasty and there was a sprinkle of sea salt over the top which really added to the flavour. I found this sandwich to be slightly easier to eat without making a huge mess compared to the one from the suburbs and the one from Hector's. It tasted pretty on par with both as well. Pretty good. I think I don't love sandwiches enough to rate them 5 stars though. That's just my tastes though. 

The chips were also great. I do love my showstring fries, and these were a perfect crispiness.
