Came here for dinner. We’ve been to this place for dinner before, but not the Melbourne Central one. It was good but nothing new? We got most of the signature dishes. The 年糕 with XO sauce was different to what we usually have but still quite good. It was on the salty side but still tolerable. The 红烧肉 was really nice, it came in this massive pot-like thing. Really large pieces, good ratio of meat to fat. Quail eggs were good. There was bok choy at the bottom. The vegetable dish we got was 丝瓜, which I don’t think we usually have. It was quite soft and floppy, and was slightly sticky similar to okra. It was good with the scrambled egg. I got the soup, which was nice. Not particularly special.
Overall this was fine. Nothing special.
