Encanto Melbourne Cafe Dessert Restaurant & Bar

- Paella for two (chicken and chorizo): $55
I came here with a friend. We shared a paella at this strange fusion-ish cafe/restaurant/bar - this place seems to do everything. I don't really know how to tag this either - it's technically Latin American fusion. Not sure what that really means.
The serving size was actually huge and we didn't actually manage to finish it all, although we did almost get there. The paella was good. Pretty solid. Beans, capsicum, chicken and chorizo. I feel like most paella kind of tastes the same - I've never really had a bad paella. This paella was solid and I did enjoy having it come in a big dish like that. I do wish the chicken and the chorizo were cut up into slightly smaller pieces, because each piece was really large - like, two bites kind of large. But it was good overall. This place also does a lot of other strange things, and they have some desserts, but I didn't try those. My friend got a tiramisu-latte (massive latte with a slice of tiramisu on top) for $15 but she didn't end up drinking most of it because she found it too sweet.
Card surcharge here apparently.
