#1000 Bread
Rating: 5⭐️
Ordered:
- black sesame milk filling pretzel: $6.80
- chocolate gaytime cube croissant: $8.80
This place is super close to where I live but I've waited so long to try it. It is really just a bread shop but I can't not give it 5 stars. It was high quality, you get what you pay for.
The cube croissant was seriously unique. It's sooooo crispy on the outside, and there are so many thin layers. And the inside of the cube is full of creamy filling. It was honestly almost too sweet because the chocolatey filling was so much. There's what seems to be a dollop of nutella that the teddies are sitting in, and powdered sugar dusted around. Honestly really good.
The pretzel was also really good. It initially seemed like a bit of a weird combo of salty (pretzel) and sweet (black sesame milk filling), but it really worked. This one was significantly less sweet, which I think I liked more. I pretty much just had these two breads for lunch and it sustained me. I think the pretzel is pretty dense.
