I got this because my friend recommended it to me. I haven't tried a new drink in quite a while (mostly because it's winter and it's cold) but I was super keen to try this drink as a 'woohoo' of finishing this rotation. I went at midday during the week which is generally not so busy. 

The matcha here was fairly strong. It was still sweet but not so sweet that you couldn't taste the bitterness - but that might have been because I got less sugar instead of normal sugar. You can never tell with these places. I generally opt for less sugar but the fact that this store offers extra sugar maybe should have clued me into the sugaryness of the drinks. 

Anyway. Less sugar was fine. It wasn't groundbreaking matcha in my books, but I do give it points for being unique - there was a thick layer of whipped matcha foam on the top of the drink, with a spinkling of powder on top, which is nice style points. But most importantly the matcha came with some sort of jelly that you could suck up through the straw. There were two types of jelly, one was more tasteless and the other one tasted like pure matcha in jelly form. This matcha jelly was so soft and melted in your mouth and I think it was the best part of the drink by far. 

You get a good amount of drink for the price you pay, especially since I opted for no ice. Great place.
