At the end of the day I do find it difficult to distinguish between the gelato at different gelato places. There's quite a few around the CBD and they're all very very solid. I came here with a friend and she swears by Messina over Piccolina. I actually think I might enjoy Piccolina the slightest bit more, but the difference between the two places is negligible in my opinion. They are both super good. It really just comes down to which flavour you get. In my head Piccolina's gelato is slightly more runnier which gives it that perfect texture in your mouth, but I feel like that could also depend on weather. Last time I had Piccolina was in the summer after all. 

After a lot of indecision I elected to have my usual, the hazelnut flavour. It was great. Not much else to say.
