I got recommended this place by a friend but the same friend also told me it was mid. So I went in not really knowing what to expect. I think the draw for this place (or at least the Hokkaido soup curries) is the fact that they do curry that isn't just your typical average identical-tasting Japanese curry; they actually have variety. My curry was slightly spicy, which kind of put me off, and I felt that it was a bit too watery. It tasted fine, I guess. The beef was nice. The veggies were there. The rice was rice. It was all a bit bland. Maybe I didn't get the right flavour, but this soup base was recommended on the menu. Hmm. I can tell why my friend told me it was mid. 

This place is really popular though, and there's not much seating. Get in early to grab a seat.
