I was pushed by a friend to go here. I've walked past it a couple times. Looking into it more I didn't realise it was sort of a Japanese/Thai fusion? Interesting concept. I'd always assumed it was more Japanese.

I have to say that I was really quite impressed with how good the food was, especially for the price. I wasn't sure if getting chicken katsu with thai green curry was a good combination; but since I used to work at a Japanese restaurant I do find the Japanese curry sauce a bit boring now because it's always the same everywhere. To my surprise, the thai green curry sauce was actually really really good. It's the best I've tasted in Melbourne at least. The katsu was great, the rice was lovely, the curry sauce was amazing. I

I do have to mention that everything in this place is spicy. I was wondering whether I should get the moderate spice but I'm glad I stuck to the mild, because even the mild was spicy, but tolerable for me. Honestly this would be a great place for an easy meal. I can see myself coming back to it again.
