Ramen Ippudo

I came here with a friend and they had a seasonal black squid ink ramen. Fascinating. We both decided to try it. I've had squid ink pasta before and the squid ink doesn't actually taste like anything, it just makes everything black. 

This ramen was the same. It was the broth that had the squid ink in it, the noodles themselves were normal. We got special aprons to wear to avoid getting squid ink on our clothes, so it's probably better to wear an old shirt or dark shirt if getting this dish. The ramen was alright, it had fried mushroom, chashu pork, corn and bean sprouts in it. Noodles were good and broth was okay. Nothing to write home about, but potentially other items on the menu might taste better? Not sure. Still good though. I'd come here again.
