Fortress is a place I've heard of a lot, but I've always been nervous to actually go there. I hung out with one of my friends and she brought along one of her friends, and he took us to Fortress because he's into board games. I always envisioned the place being scarier than it actually is. It's actually a really chill place to go catch up, you can play board games, you can play PC games with friends, you can play Mario Kart, etc etc. They have a bar and pub food. We actually only played card games with a deck that one of us brought, but it was still fun.

I don't expect too much from the food at this place, because it's going to be pub food. The lemon lime bitters was alright, the cheesy garlic bread was amazing, the pizzas were perfectly good and affordable, especially when split between the three of us. I was surprised a bit at the cheeseburger pizza because it really tasted like a burger. The pizza base was nice and soft too, not too difficult to chew. Not bad overall.
