I have been to Max on Hardware so many times and every time it is an absolutely stellar experience. It is SO GOOD it's unreal. It's such a solid place to eat, it never disappoints.

Today I went with someone new. We ordered a pizza and pasta to share, and then we decided to day drink and order two cocktails, which we also ended up sharing. Is that weird? I dunno.

The pizza was great. I don't think a totally cheese pizza is generally my favourite pizza to go with, but even so it was amazing. The initial cheese pull from the pizza was top notch. You could totally taste all the cheese flavours in there.

The pasta was also incredible. Beef and truffle fetuccini? What's not to love. The beef was cooked to perfection and the truffle made it all the more delicious. SOOOO good.

What actually shocked me the most about this dining experience was the drinks. I've never gotten a cocktail from here because it's kind of expensive, but my friend wanted a cocktail so I got one too. I decided on the Purple Moon and my friend got the Capri Sun, but we ended up sharing them anyway. I was nervous that I wouldn't like the Purple Moon because it had gin in it, but it was actually the most amazing drink I've ever had. Like I would be tempted to go back JUST to get that cocktail, it was so delicious. Is it weird to go to Max on Hardware and just ask for a cocktail? Probably. Capri Sun was nice as well, but definitely not a nice as the Purple Moon. The purple thing just hit different.

Max on Hardware killing it yet again.
