Five Guys

- little fries: $6.90

This American chain restaurant is right downstairs for me. I wanted to try it. I have been to America before but I don't remember ever eating Five Guys there. 

The restaurant was very clean, which did surprise me as in my head it's a bit of a greasy burger chain. Maybe it's newly opened. I found that I forgot how American fast food places worked - all the sizes are MASSIVE. My hamburger - which I expected to be the size of a Grill'd burger - came all greasy with TWO patties inside. It was actually massive. The small fries were ALSO massive - it was the size of a large fries honestly. I couldn't even finish the hamburger. I had to put the fries in the fridge. 

The food was good though. It was just large. The patties were juicy and tasted great. I got the cajun seasoning on the fries so they were almost a bit too spicy for me, but the fries were good, They have ketchup and mayo dip which helped. In true American fashion you can also buy a soda cup and self-serve.

I would go again. Next time I would definitely order the little burgers though. Note to self, in America get small for everything.
