Yoyogi Sushi Train & Hand-Roll Bar
Rating: 4⭐️
Ordered: variety
I went here for dinner with two of my friends. It'd been a while since I'd eaten at a sushi train and I was keen to get my sushi fix. There was a deal going on that day where all the plates were $3.90 (same price as the cheapest plate) so it was quite worth it. I got about 7 plates worth of food and I couldn't finish the last one.
The sushi was good but I wouldn't say it was spectacular in any way. There was a good variety of things to try. They had much different sushi compared to what you'd normally get at a to-go sushi place. They also had eggplant and mushroom in more "premium" plates, as well as soba noodles and some fried things, which were nice to try. I really liked the unagi sashimi. The dessert mochi was not the greatest. They also have a screen for you to order extra things, but we didn't try that. We also didn't get any drinks, even though this place is a sushi bar, so maybe if I go back it'd be worth trying.
